Score one for a Moderate!
Arnold Schwarzenegger is Governor of California.
October 8th, 2003
Arnold has done it. Now there is a new team is California. I'm pleased that he is Governor. Sen. John McCain endorsed Arnold, and made some very good points. Arnold is worth $800 Million Dollars, and he simply cannot be bought. He has nothing to gain by taking big money's side on issues. I hope Democrats in California will listen to him, and Join Arnold in what has to be done. We accomplish nothing through party blindedness.

What about the Flat Tax?
September 2, 2003
A current issue that is drawing political lines is Flat Tax. From my undestanding Flat Tax is an income tax system where everyone would be charged an equal percentage of their income. Sounds a lot like a tithe. After sampling some fellow students of mine at McAfee it seemed both the conservative, and more moderate minded individuals like the Flat Tax. However, some Democrats argue that it is a Republican policy that benefits the rich. What do you think? Please answer the poll >>Click Here<<
Wesley ClarkVisits Georgia
November 7, 2003
General Wesley Clark has come to Georgia. On Thursday night the C-Company hosted Clark's arival at the Park Tavern. An involved crowd of cocerned voters showed up to meet the General. I was there, and he made a point to be warm and friendly to all who came to him. In attendance was his West Point roomate and veteran, who is a Georgia Resident. Clark has family in Georgia; some of his cousins were there. more on this to come soon. Visit Georgia for Clark's Website for a more >>Click Here<<
Democrats are Confused.
November 28th, 2003
It is interesting to note that 91% of CNN website readers think that Wesley Clark stands the best chance of beating Bush. If we assume that most of the people (1,795,214 votes total), who actually voted on that poll, were Democrats, then a majority of those same people turn around and vote for Dean as the candidate they will vote for in the primary. Why don't they think about that? Isn't the Idea to nominate a candidate that will win the election?

What is G.R.I.D. ?
January 15th 2004
G.R.I.D. stands for Greens, Republicans, Independents, and Democrats for anybody but Bush. They met at Ryan's Steakhouse in Lagrange. Clark supporters including the chairman of Georgia for Wesley Clark were on had. Future Hogansville City Councilman Bobby Frazier and Lagrange City Councilman George Moore were in attendance. Chairman of G.R.I.D., Bob Barton gave his testimony of how he came to put this support program together. He spoke of local results that were evident of the lack of progressive leadership from our President. If you're interested in learning more about G.R.I.D. >>Click Here<<
National Polls are Inaccurate
January 24, 2004
Last week we witnessed evidence of the inaccuracy of the National Political Polls; John Kerry won the Iowa Caucus. Howard Dean came in a distant 3rd. As you should know by now, I'm supporting Wesley Clark for president. I was displeased with the lack of attention Clark and the other candidates were receiving, fortunately Kerry's victory has benefited all candidates. The field is wide open in New Hampshire. Whether or not Wesley Clark wins, he can still win the nomination.
We had the wonderful pleasure of having Wesley Clark's first cousin, Barry Kanne, at Coweta for Clark's 1st official Meetup. Our team is growing, and we are excited about the work we will be doing for the Wesley Clark Campaign. Ann Sheppard of Sharpsburg has agreed to be an executive member of our team. We have enough for a squad in Clark's Campaign army. If you're interested in joining our team >>Click Here<<
